It was Indie Thursday at the ZXZW office yesterday. For a few weeks in a row now, the Glasgow based band Dananananaykroyd is in the top of our playing charts of this weekly celebration of indie music.
Their debut album ‘Hey Everyone’ hit the stores last week and got some really great reviews from renowned e-zines and we really agree to the words written there. They supported on the last European Kaiser Chiefs tour and did a great job. Really a lot of energy and fun on stage, two singers, two drummers and a pretty girl on bass.
Btw, the band name’s referring to the US comedian Dan Aykroyd. Check them out and be impressed. They are going to be THE band of 2009!
