We are living in a world of metal. Journalist Rene van Peer made a radio show about metal (the object). The metalmentary lasts four hours. Very cool that, in times of short media-slots, someone has the opportunity to do something in such an extensive manner. Saturday, 2-6 2007 21:02 747 AM

ZXZW is an indepenent festival for independent culture. More than 120 international acts wil play in more than 20 venues through Tilburg, a small town in The Netherlands. The line up features a wide range of music as well as film, lectures and visual arts. It goes from dead electronic music, intelligent metal, free rock, speed jazz and everything in between. Everything happens in small clubs, pubs and galleries, for a small price. You can also take a stroll on the independent music market. In 2005 ZXZW started as an underground festival, organised by some musicians. It still is and will always be like that. If you’re Aphex Twin or Metallica or Karl-Heinz Stockhausen: We bought all your records (well, except for Metallica, we only have the Cliff Burton albums) but don’t want you on our festival. ZXZW is about new acts, about new ways of discovering new music. View all posts by zxzw
